Owner and Winemaker
A German who came to the US in 1997 to train in Anesthesiology at UC San Diego. Became a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist by day and a scientist by night at UCSF, where he worked for over 11 years before moving to San Jose in 2012. Used to be a competitive windsurfer before becoming a noncompetitive surfer and amateur boxer. Has two happy kids with his wife Jimee. Loves chain saws. Needs to mature more than his wines do. Drinks beer and converts to wine only if exceptional. Planning on only making wine he would be proud to drink himself and share with you.
Born in Korea, now dedicated to stomping out malaria from the world so everyone can have a chance at life and often co-opted by husband, Greg. Knows a lot about bugs and knows a lot of people that know a lot about bugs, which is very helpful when attempting to control bad ones. Has endless patience for crazy ideas and is often the voice of reason.
The man, the myth, the legend. After working his way up in the oil fields as a grunt man during high school to supervisor, he then worked for over 30 years in construction including helping to build our winery. He and his wife are the proud parents of four kids and have fostered many more.
Master Vigneron and Cellar Master
Originally from Mihocoan Mexico, Daniel has been farming for over ten years and comes from a family of vignernons. He is working towards becoming an official Master Vigernon this November. He has four kids and loves all sports especially soccer.
