Three Steps to Not Blending In This Weekend
Hibernation is officially over! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and 2016 Stonehouse Cellar wines are ready to get this party started! You could blend in with the crowd by staying in your pajamas and binge watching another show, or you celebrate spring by joining us in making (and drinking) some killer wine.
Starting this Saturday, we will be conducting blending trials of the 2016 estate Cabernets and we want YOU to join us! No need to have a professional's palate or experience, just an enthusiasm for wine and great people. (And if you’re not ready to say goodbye to your winter pajamas, there are approximately ZERO rules about drinking wine in slippers. #expectationfreezone)
Join us Saturday for a fun and unique wine blending experience. We’ll work together to mix the 2016 wines until we find the perfect balance and that will become our 2016 estate Cabernet Sauvignon vintage. Imagine opening a finished bottle of Stonehouse Cellars Cabernet and knowing your role in bringing it to life and to the community’s dinner table.
There’s nothing average about our vines and wines and we invite you to come experience them for yourself! Our estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in three separate vineyard "blocks", each bringing their own unique character. We process and barrel them each separately so we can optimize their best qualities when they are bottled. Our vines range from 25-40 years old; instead of producing lots of fruit, they produce lots of concentrated flavors and complex character. Come and see for yourself!
Spaces are very limited so reserve your spot today! A small $10 charge will cover your wine and snacks. Wine club members attend free!
There are three opportunities to join:
Saturday, April 7
Saturday, April 14
Saturday, April 21
Each Saturday, we will start at 2 pm and wrap up by 6 pm.
